Our client is a growing supply chain software vendor that is expanding their professional services team as a result. We are currently seeking a candidate with project management experience implementing supply chain software offerings for this exciting opportunity to join their organization:




Position title: Project Manager

Location: Anywhere in U.S.





Job Description:

As a Project Manager and member of professional services you will be responsible for leading a team to provide clients with the highest level of service and satisfaction.  In this role you will use your professional skills and experience to lead all aspects of a project implementing the company’s product offerings, as well as to participate directly in the following software implementation activities:

  • Lead project from design through go-live
  • Define and manage resources, budget, project plans, scope, and issues and hit key milestones for one or more projects
  • Define and execute project phases and activities defined in the company’s methodology
  •  Interact with customer executive sponsor, detailing status and working through issues
  • Motivate team through the entire systems implementation life cycle




Skills required:

  • 3-5+ years’ experience managing the implementation of supply chain software product offerings
  • Possess strong and current experience with MS-SQL and/or Oracle SQL
  • Strong operations and supply chain business acumen
  • Expertise in the areas of application programming, database and system design
  • Ensure project teams are effectively employing appropriate application and database design techniques
  • Utilize knowledge of client/server and internet systems architectures to recommend appropriate technology for the system application
  • Experience managing medium to large project budget
  • Strong track record of project implementations
  • Solid business analysis experience including requirements gathering, translating requirements into functional specifications, writing test scripts and test cases, performing manual testing
  • Proficiency with MS Project, MS Word and MS Excel
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Solid communication, interpersonal and group facilitation skills
  • Up to 50% domestic travel
