Summary of Position

Sagacious Consultants is seeking to hire a full-time employee responsible for growing the business by establishing new business and maintaining relations with current customers.The Account Manager typically works with a degree of autonomy and seeks and follows leads to acquire new business. This position also includes negotiating contract terms with customers and working toward exceeding predetermined quotas set by supervisor.

Responsibilities:

·         Generate leads

o        Leverage Sagacious network to establish a business relationship with prospective customers

o        Grow network by actively engaging new leads

o        Use provided customer lists and employ cold and warm-calling tactics to establish new contacts with predefined prospective customers

§         Cold-calling techniques include utilizing social and professional networks, discussion forums, phone calls, unsolicited emails, etc.

o        Travel to site locations to provide face to face time to help grow relations

o        Sell Sagacious to customers by impressing our culture and our people on their executives

o        Work with Sagacious colleagues to develop marketing strategies to appeal to customers

 

·         Establish new business

o        Assess customers’ needs and work alongside Sagacious colleagues to match compatible candidates with the available positions

o        Manage contract negotiations from beginning to end

o        Coordinate customer/candidate interviews

o        Assist with the onboarding process of our employees

 

·         Maintain Customers

o        Provide ongoing support for customer relationships you have established

o        Generate additional business from customers as their needs develop

o        Intervene  and escalate urgent issues when necessary

o        Ensure employees remain happy and positive on the project

o        Continue to engage the customer to retain the positive rapport

o        Follow up on any late payments or bad debt

Reporting Relationship: Reports to Monte Hess, Director of Business Development, at Sagacious Consultants

Qualifications/Experience:

·         3+ years of experience in B2B environment

·         Cold calling, lead generation, account management experience

·         Contract negotiation experience

·         Bachelor’s degree

·         Sales experience in the Healthcare EMR industry (desired)

·         Understands the complete sales cycle (from prospecting to closing)
