Account Services Specialist

About the Job

PL Developments (PLD) is a rapidly growing Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Packaging company. PLD's main headquarters is located on Long Island with additional locations in South Carolina, Florida and California. We are currently looking to fill an Account Services Specialist position at the Long Island location.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor’s degree preferred
•2-3 years of customer service experience required
•Prior experience in pharmaceutical consumer products preferred
•Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Self motivated and outgoing


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Order processing, order entry, RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) entry
•Receive EDI orders
•Review inbound log report for price discrepancies, ship date, due date, and lead-time
•Review and monitor open order report, daily shipping report to cancel back orders and notify customers that do not accept B/O’s to cancel from PO
•Update due dates on PO’s with extensions
•Add customer item upon receipt of orders
•Price maintenance
•Conduct compliance research and dispute when deemed necessary
•Work closely with warehouse on shipping issues
•Attend Production meeting
•Work with reconciliation and QA group for release of products
•Internal sales point person for field sales team and brokers
•Complete new item forms, item specification lists, products lists, samples requests, and  new vendor packets
•Follow up on pending quotes: confirm NPI facts (volumes, case pack, initial order quantities/timing, etc.)
•Display point person: inclusive of gathering display requests, quotes on same, meet with vendors, design administration (in coordination with Creative Services)
•Certificate of insurance requests
•Create:
 oNPI’s
 oArt initiation form
 oCRN’s (for item changes, packaging spec change)
 oCreate NCMR’s (for disposal of FG’s and components)
 oCreate Lifecycle changes
 oFollow NPI’s, LSC’s, CRN’s to ensure they are completed in a timely manner
•Prepare sample requests for customers
•Maintain Sample Room for assigned accounts  
•Move orders
•Sign off and review of NCMR’s
•Short dated account: sends short dated list out of bids and compares bids to choose winner
•Monitor and manage forward inventory positions for Finished Goods
•Work with the scheduling group to develop a master production schedule
•Monitor various business metrics (forecast vs. actual sales, inventory coverage statistics, customer service levels, internal operating statistics, etc.) and take appropriate action based on the data
