Seeking Administrative Assistant that can get things done from A to Z:


We are a quickly growing real estate development firm in Westchester County, NY that is seeking a dynamic assistant who can work as part of a team and help with a wide range of administrative tasks.  If you are not a motivated individual this is not the position for you. We try to stay on the leading edge when it comes to adopting new technologies, we run a paperless office using all Mac computers and we always keep our eyes open for solutions to make our processes more efficient.

  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
  • We will do a background check as well as a driving record check.
  • If you list it on your resume, especially if it is relative to any information listed below, expect to be tested on it.
  • Technology plays a huge roll in our business processes. Please be honest in your assessment of your aptitude.

EDUCATION:
  • We are flexible here. Level of education does not gauge intelligence or aptitude.


MUST:
  • Be willing to “roll up your sleeves”.
  • Be reliable and professional.
  • Be a self-starter and work well without supervision.
  • Be extremely organized.
  • Be a fast learner.
  • Have a positive attitude and excellent manners.
  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have the ability to take charge, prioritize, start and finish.
  • Take pride in doing things to the best of your ability.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Has better than average computer skills and experience in a Mac OS environment.
  • Knows how to sort and organize files on a hard drive... And find them again.
  • Has excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word & Excel.
  • Has worked with a document scanner, PDF files and Adobe Acrobat. (Experience manipulating PDF files a +)

SOFTWARE & TECHNOLOGY WE USE EVERYDAY:

  • Mac computers running latest OS X.
  • Fujitsu ScanSnap ix500 Desktop Document Scanners & Software
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • Microsoft Office for Mac (Word & Excel)
  • Dropbox
  • iCloud (Mail, Contacts, Calendar)
  • Quickbooks for Mac.
