Territory Manager A
CertainTeed Corporation (Roofing Products Group) has a full time opening for a Territory Manager-A to be based in the South Bend, Indiana area.
A Bachelor’s Degree is required along with 4-6 years of related sales experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of annual territorial action plans, prospecting plan, weekly and monthly plans to assure the achievement of sales goals as well as maintain and or develop an active contact program on current and prospective customers. Establish customer call patterns and frequency. Aggressively present and promote all products to customers. Maintain a complete profile of competitive activity in the roofing product market. Recommends and documents pricing requirements.
Problem solving and decision-making duties involve participating with Regional Manager/District Manager in solving sales problems, investigating customer complaints and making decisions to resolve such complaints. The successful candidate will make recommendations for target accounts and action plans to close as well as make recommendations for changes to product merchandising, pricing and product policy. Examples may include customer delivery, pricing levels and new product ideas.
This position works in the field with customers at their place of business or where products are installed on job sites. This position requires 10-60% of time in overnight travel depending on the area.
A self-starter with good communication/presentation skills and a proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must.
