Art Director


The Art Director leads the creative process for projects including video, motion graphics, mobile applications, digital and print brochures, and point-of-sale materials.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Concept with writer to develop product-focused videos
  • Have a working knowledge of AfterEffects and motion graphics development
  • Be able to multi-task and work on a range of projects from video to print  
  • Produce comps/storyboards for client presentations
  • Art Direct photo shoots, film shoots, and illustrations
  • Collaborate with Project Management, Production, Art Buying and Studio to achieve the best solutions for assignment
  • Keep current on design/production trends, materials and developments

 

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years art direction and design experience in marketing and communications industries with a 1-2 year focus on interactive work (excellent portfolio and glowing references in lieu or formal stuff OK)
  • Expert skills in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
  • Competent skills in After Effects and Flash
  • Ability to communicate creative ideas/concepts through the use of thumbnail sketches and/or storyboards
