Clinical Supervisor (Assistant Branch Manager)

Northern Worcester, Massachusetts 

Seniorlink’s® Caregiver Homes is dedicated to helping elder and disabled adults live with dignity and independence. Our Structured Family Caregiver model has three main components:  24X7 at-home care from a paid caregiver (often a family member) living with the consumer; clinical oversight by an RN and Care Manager (typically a licensed social worker); and daily caregiver reporting in our web-based case record.

  

We have a full-time opportunity for a Clinical Supervisor/Assistant Branch Manager in ourNorthern Worcester Satellite Branch, where over 80% of our caregivers are family members, and where we serve culturally and age diverse consumers.  On average, our caregivers help consumers with six ADLs daily.  The ideal Assistant Branch Manager candidate will be an RN or social worker with strong experience supervising and educating clinical staff in a healthcare setting. 

 

Under the guidance of the Branch Manager, the Assistant Branch Manager plays a critical role in supporting the success of the branch.  This includes overseeing all care and services provided to consumers and caregivers by focusing primarily on three key areas:  staff supervision and development, quality assurance, and clinical compliance.  The Assistant Branch Manager will also participate in marketing activities.

 

 

Qualifications:

§         Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in case management and program operations in the field of eldercare

§         RN or Master’s degree in social work preferred, or an equivalent of education and experience in eldercare service and program delivery

§         Experience managing clinical staff

 

Skills/Knowledge Required:

§         Knowledge of case management systems, community service and delivery systems, as well as a background in program operations

§         Strong clinical, compliance and quality management skills

§         Strong communication skills – listening, verbal, written 

§         Success managing, mentoring and coaching staff, using outcomes data to create development plans

§         Competent use of technology and computers; specifically, proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, laptop and Smartphone usage

§         Extensive car travel within assigned geography

 

The Caregiver Homes service model is available to Medicaid beneficiaries in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Ohio and Indiana (2013), and is demonstrating reduced hospitalizations and incidents (such as falls), with overall high integrity and excellent consumer satisfaction.
