WeiserMazars LLP on Long Island is seeking high performing Audit Seniors who are passionate about 
providing meaningful insight to businesses and individuals while investing in their own professional

through on‐the‐job training, CPE seminars, in‐house development programs and customized 
training where appropriate. 
 
As an Audit Senior, you will be responsible for providing the highest level of service to our clients 
working with staff accountants, managers and Partners as well as client personnel. You will be 
required to: 
 
  • Perform audit engagements for various clients in diverse industries (Real Estate, Manufacturing and Distribution, Financial Services, Professional Services, Not‐for‐Profit…) 
  • Actively contribute to the design and planning of engagements 
  • Create, update and follow‐up on client document request lists 
  • Research technical guidance and provide potential conclusions to Managers and Partners 
  • Proactively interact with, and update, clients, managers and Partners to ensure the timely filing of reports 
  • Supervise staff and take an active role in their professional development 
  • Contribute to in‐house educational initiatives 
 
Required Skills and Experience: 
  • 2‐4 years’ audit experience in public accounting 
  • Current CPA license 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills 
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven experience of working as part of a team
  • Excellent client relationship and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills – knowledge of ProSystem Fx Engagement is a plus 
  • Knowledge of current audit and accounting concepts 
  • Tax and/or 401k audit experience is a plus
