Bilingual Japanese/English Project Manager
About the Job
A company is seeking a Bilingual Japanese/English Project Manager. Must speak, read and write Japanese language skill. Must have a minimum of 2 years office work experience. College degree is preferred. Basic PC skill are required with MS Office applications. May require business travel, including overseas locations. This is a full time position, non exempt, with excellent benefits including 401K.
Duties: -Oversee and monitor established financial budget of assigned accounts and ensure terms of the project are accurately followed -Work closely with clients to resolve all issues pertaining to the project -Maintain familiarity and understanding of all terms of the project contract -Take necessary steps to keep management apprised of the status of the project and when issues arise, immediately address the issues with all affected parties -Manage client relationships in a professional manner and exceed client expectations -Manage and assist in the creation and maintenance of project documentation and reports -Manage and oversee an assigned outsourcing project. -Coordinate and plan all required activities and tasks related to the project -Exercise independent judgement and basic reasoning skills -Work independently with minimal supervision and guidance -Coordinate and complete multiple projects with limited deadline dates -Provide leadership and direction to other staff and/or project members -General competence with MS Office applications -Perform other duties as requested by the client of management -Overtime may be required for conference calls with staff in Japan after the U.S office has closed -May require business travel, including overseas locations
