Responsible for user support on the Electronic Medical Record System. Assists with moderate and diversified projects in support of the activities and operations of the Business Applications Department. Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, resolves those problems or redirects problem to appropriate resource and maintains audit trail of user requested assistance in accordance with department policy. Responsible for maintenance on user security, table content and user set up in the system in accordance with department policy.
Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred. Requires 1 years experience in a help desk or patient care environment, preferably with Hospice and medical billing. Knowledge of medical terminology for medication review and diagnosis entry helpful. Extensively proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Mastery of essential general office procedures; healthcare terminology and systems preferred. Skilled in extracting and compiling technical data; report format for tables, graphs, slides, and statistical reports. Self-starter and effective problem solver. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Displays professional demeanor and maintains confidentiality.
