About the Job

MEMBERSHIP/COMMUNICATIONS ADMIN

An Association Management company that provides various services for associations and not-for-profit organizations is currently looking to fill a Membership/Communications Admin position located in Manhattan.

The ideal candidate for the position would possess:
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc..) Adobe Creative Suite, Constant Contact or similar bulk-e-mail delivery
  • Energetic, positive and self-motivated personality with effective oral and written skills to serve the membership


Responsibilities:

  • Ability to proactively engage and inform members and non-members of services and activities of the organization
  • Producing and sending out membership renewal notices and call on collections for past due accounts
  • Daily contact with membership by phone
  • Sending out blast-emails as needed
  • Organizing in-house mailings
  • Daily website maintenance= responding to website contact form questions
  • Website content maintenance
  • Updating Membership database
  • Will travel at least one week per year as required by the Vice President of Conferences
