Business Development, Director


Reporting to the Vice President of WW Business Development, you will play a key role in developing business activities at various stages.

To be successful you will possess a solid business background that enables you to drive revenue for the company via strategic engagement with both partners and customers, as well as creating first-mover opportunities for new product lines.

• Serve as a key member of the Business Development team responsible for creating new business opportunities for The 41st Parameter, a part of Experian
• Oversee the negotiation and close of complex, win-win partner agreements that require technical, business model and market alignment
• Effectively establish and grow relationships at an executive level (VP and above) with external contacts at customers and partners
• Identify and develop new business/market opportunities, business models and channels to extend market reach and drive new distribution, awareness and revenue opportunities through partners
• Manage the day-to-day business relationships with key strategic channel partners to drive and track revenue opportunities
• Work closely with the 41st Parameter direct field sales team, worldwide

• 8+ years experience in B2B technology solutions (enterprise SAS background preferred) delivering customer-facing marketing, strategy and sales or business development activities
• Thorough knowledge of developing strategic partnerships with a successful track record negotiating, closing and managing large and complex contractual agreements
• Experience in prospecting for partners in new markets
• Excellent project management skills and ability to drive solid results while partnering with cross-functional teams
• Sound business judgment, financial acumen and strong analytical skills
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to develop rapport and credibility while promoting ideas and proposals persuasively
• Comfort with NPV, ROI and market driven modeling techniques
• Experience in enterprise fraud prevention is a plus
• Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems a plus
• BS or BA required, MS or MBA highly preferred
• Ability to travel is required (estimated 25% +)
