Business Development Manager

About the Job


The BDM / Sales professional will be responsible for the development, maintenance and growth of new business of regional commercial accounts for the San Francisco branch. The BDM will be responsible for the client relationship and fulfillment of requirements and delivery of services.


·         Manage and facilitate the development of business

·         Actively qualify and market TLS’ service offerings to multiple vertical markets and multiple geographies

·         Consult with clients on hiring needs; develop job descriptions based on those needs

·         Actively market TLS’ consultants to current and potential clients

·         Recruit as necessary to fill both contract and direct hire positions

·         To develop and maintain professional relationships on behalf of TLS with prospective candidates/customers

·         Generate leads through cold calling, meetings, office events, etc.

·         Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts

·         Day to day management of client engagements, including status report generation, weekly meetings/calls, monthly meetings, communications with internal and external teams, strategy sessions, and day to day delivery



·         To perform any necessary administration and record keeping functions to maintain candidate/customer database

·         Other miscellaneous duties as pertaining to this position

·         To assist in the collection of any pertinent past due accounts


Desired Skills & Experience

Education: Related college degree or equivalent experience

Languages: English

Professional experience & know how: 
• 2+ years sales, customer service

• Possess sound knowledge of information technology industry, preferably in IT staffing/services

• Maintain thorough understanding of technical areas by staying abreast of current IT trends

• Project SOW a plus

• Project/Program management

• IT Business consultants

• Systems Engineers

• Data Modeler/mining/warehouse

• Application developers

• Network administrators/engineers/architects

• Web design/development, mobile development

• Database analyst/programmer/architects

• Help desk support (all levels)
