PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop comprehensive strategic plan for Microsoft workloads and SQL that drive new paths to off-premises revenue.
• Analyze and document global market for Microsoft Applications with off-premises cloud providers.
• Develop paths to market.
• Identify primary market drivers and gaps to exploit.
• Work with Partners and partner offerings.
• Market TAM specific to EMC products and services.
• Establish connection to strategic Cloud Service Provider Partners and other likely partners including Microsoft Azure.
• Create a comprehensive O365 compete strategy.
• Develop growth strategy, GTM, etc. to achieve global market reach and taps into a new suite of service providers.
• Analyze and document competitive landscape – strengths, weaknesses, etc.
• Determine opportunity to drive EMC Hybrid cloud in connection with integrated MS Cloud OS stack, VMware and OpenStack architectures.
• Establish strategic relationships in each theatre to drive field interlock and feedback sessions.
• Participates in account and/industry analysis, problem resolution, and communications between client, Sales and EMC management. Participates in Sales support and business development projects as needed. Helps to identify, evaluate, recruit and manage resources to meet proposal budgets and cost projections.
• May support the design, development and value-added offerings which will drive additional opportunities. Proactively provides input into the development of Global Practices policies, procedures, standards and strategies with local (Regional or Divisional) teams.
• Travel required (25%+).

SKILLS
• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years relevant experience.
• Experience in managed services.
• Experience in IT infrastructure.
• IT sales experience including account planning and strategy desired.
• Technical writing skills.
• Project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Financial and analytical experience.
• Ability to prioritize projects and deliverables.
