About the Job

The Sliding Door Company (TSDC) is widely respected throughout the Architectural & Design (A&D) industry as the premier choice in the manufacturing and installation of high quality commercial and residential interiorglass doors and partitions (room dividers, sliding partitions, privacy walls, office cubicles, closet doors and swing doors). 

 

We are growing rapidly and looking to build our team with individuals who will represent us with that same high quality. We’re currently seeking experienced BusinessDevelopment professionalsto represent our organization in Los Angeles and Orange County. Home bases will include Costa Mesa and Culver City.

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • 3+ years outside sales experience
  • Experience working with architects, designers and/or contractors preferred
  • Proven ability to prospect & build key customer relationships
  • Proven ability to negotiate and close sales
  • Ability to master our product line and its applications
  • Outgoing and engaging personality
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills and the ability to work independently
  • Superior organization and follow up skills

 

Primary responsibilities for this position include the following:

  • Ability to increase company and product exposure weekly
  • Prospect and meet with potential customer/clients
  • Effectively manage and maintain weekly activity reports, pipeline reports & client follow-up
  • Meet /exceed sales/metrics goals
  • Close projects/sales
  • Make appointments with Decision Makers, present product line, convert into clients
  • Work with team to develop proposal that speaks to the clients needs increase sales opportunities
  • Attend industry functions
  • Accurately enter data into company CRM
  • Get spec’d on Architectural plans for projects
  • Maintain customer relationships ensuring customer loyalty through excellent customer service as well as meeting all client needs to appropriate to their business
