Videoconference Support Technician

Security Clearance Eligibility: Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a DOE "Q" security clearance
Duties and Responsibilities:
The VTC Support Technician is responsible for the operation and support for 7 video conference systems, scheduling, room and equipment setup, monitoring and troubleshooting. Visual and audio media equipment support and operation for both onsite and offsite meetings and presentations.

Web application knowledge
Proficiency in using a personal computer
MS Office Professional with proficiency in Excel and Word
Must have the ability to learn new techniques, new technologies and work independently.
Reads, writes and verbally communicates at a level to solicit or explain information that is highly complex or technical, and/or compose correspondence and/or report.
MS Windows 7
Basic knowledge of video and audio media and equipment operation.
Experience with videoconference room and desktop systems
Operate and maintain AV and VTC equipment to ensure all equipment operates safely and reliably
One to three years’ experience as a video conference facilitator
One to three years’ general audio/visual media equipment operation experience
Must be a US Citizen
Individual MUST be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q security clearance.
Ability to introduce new concepts, processes and methods
Develop effective plans, execute tasks and timetables for projects
