Community Investment Analyst 



Major Bank located in New York City is currently seeking a qualified individual for their expanding community development area.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance to customer institutions and housing organizations in regard to the process of applying for AHP assistance, submitting funding requisitions, and ensuring long-term compliance with federal regulations.
  • Assist in administering the process of reviewing, scoring, ranking, cross-review, and recommending of AHP applications for approval by the Bank’s Board of Directors.
  • Assist in managing the process of reviewing and recommending CIP applications for approval by the Bank’s management.
  • Evaluate AHP funding requisitions from customer institutions.
  • Ensure the eligibility and compliance of proposed projects and households in regard to program regulations and guidelines.
  • Prepare initial AHP compliance monitoring report requests in connection with fully funded projects.
  • Perform project site visits and on-site audits.
  • Cross-train Community Investment Operations staff in regard to financial analysis of housing projects, household income determination analysis, documentation review, and other AHP practices.
  • Assist in the preparation of the Data Management report and management of other reporting requirements to the Federal Housing Finance Agency (“FHFA”).
  • Assist in the management of internal reporting requirements, including reconciliations, requests for data, statistical information, etc.
  • Assist in the development of policies and procedures that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the AHP and CIP.




The ideal candidate must have a bachelor's degree and 4+ years experience working in either public or private housing, community development, mortgage lending or related.
