The Corporate Compliance Director provides day-to-day support to the Vice President of Compliance Support in managing the Company’s Corporate Compliance Program. The Director will work on all parts of the Compliance program, which will include responsibilities in creating, revising, and implementing Compliance policies, in conjunction with the VP and others. In this role you would support Human Resources and Internal Communications in developing Compliance communications and trainings as needed in addition to providing guidance to employees regarding Compliance policies and related issues which include participating or chairing/co-chairing committees or working groups (e.g., Compliance Committee; the Record Management Working Group; etc.). The Director would also assist the VP and others in governance and related matters as well as special projects directly impacting the function.
The ideal candidate would possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of paralegal or similar type of professional experience. JD degree a plus but not required. Minimum of 5 years of recent work experience with Compliance and Governance related issues. Additional requirements include strong leadership and communication skills, including the power of persuasion, since a key objective will be continuing to enhance the culture of compliance throughout the Company. You must possess superior integrity and character with the ability to handle confidential matters with the highest level of sensitivity.
