RESPONSIBILITIES: In this position you will be involved with project management of construction materials testing projects. From a technical standpoint you will be involved with: testing of soils, foundations, reinforced and post-tensioned concrete, masonry, structural steel, fireproofing and asphalt pavement. Additional responsibilities include application of technical support, daily review of field reports, monitoring project process, performance and budgetary conditions, as well as attending project site meetings and assisting with the resolution of both technical and administrative problems. As low barriers are maintained between departments, geotechnical engineering experience is a plus. We seek a candidate who also has a strong interest and some experience in marketing; you will be involved with client development, marketing to new and existing clients, proposal preparation and business development.


QUALIFICATIONS:


? Minimum of a BS degree in engineering, construction management or a related field.


? 1-3 years of CMT experience.


? EIT or PE would be a plus. Alternatively, other CMT certifications will be considered


? Strong oral and written communications.


? Interest in project management and marketing/BD.


? Understanding of soil mechanics and evaluation techniques and/or facilities/ specialty testing is a plus.

Note: ECS does not supply vehicles; therefore, you must be able to provide a vehicle suitable for use on construction sites. We will compensate you at $0.56/mile for use of your own vehicle for work related activities. Driver?s license verification required; must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the ECS driving policy.
