POSITIONS Available
    CONTROLLER: 
Responsible for managing all accounting functions of the Agency.  Areas of responsibility include accounts payable, payroll, management of grants and contracts, financial reporting, budget development and monitoring, and audit planning and preparation.
   ACCOUNTANT:   Responsible for accounting and bookkeeping functions.  Develops and implements financial systems and procedures.  Prepares budgets and forecasts and monitors results. 

       TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES

vMaintains general and subsidiary ledgers for all funding sources

vAssures accuracy and completeness of all journals

vPrepares records for audit

vDevelops and maintains accounts receivable records

vAssists in the preparation of monthly financial statements

vAnalyzes monthly reports by programs and projects annual results

vPrepares monthly, quarterly and annual external financial reports as required

vAssists in preparation of budgets

     MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

          Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Management and two years experience in an accounting position.

      REQUIRED SKILLS

vAbility to use computer software and hardware for accounting activities

vAbility to organize work and maintain detailed records

vCapacity to assign and supervise work of others
