Position Description

 

Granex Industries, Inc.is seeking a motivated, customer-focused individual with exceptional communication skills for the open position of Customer Service Assistant.  This position is responsible for providing high-quality, in-house support to customers and staff ensuring a professional, customer focused approach while demonstrating proficient skills in communication and customer interaction.

 

The ideal candidate is a flexible individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment bringing with them proficient skills and experience in telecommunication systems, customer service and office administration.

 

A pleasant, enthusiastic, energetic personality is a must. Past experience and/or interest in the areas of interior design, sales and/or granite industry is highly preferred.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

 

  • Receive and direct incoming calls accurately and professionally, demonstrating exceptional telephone communication skills throughout each interaction.
  • Greet and attend to incoming customers and clients, creating a welcoming, positive environment for each individual upon arrival.
  • Provide product assistance and recommendations to in-house customers, ensuring high-quality customer service and support.
  • Ensure both company software and internal contacts are updated with pertinent, customer information when needed to ensure a seamless, customer-facing process.
  • Maintain knowledge of Granex Industries products and services to ensure reliable customer communication and interaction.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely responses, involving internal staff and management when necessary. 
  • Perform additional, clerical and administrative duties as assigned.

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in telecommunication systems and standard office equipment
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with the Internet and MS Suite
  • Ability to quickly adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team

 

Additional Details:

Compensation: Hourly

Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K plan, vacation, and sick days

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5pm, Saturday 9am to 1pm (every fourth Saturday)

Start Date: Immediately
