Our client is seeking Customer Service Representatives in Philadelphia, PA.

Earn $13.25 to $13.64 per hour at these full-time, temporary positions. Work 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.


Job Description:

  • Assist members with questions concerning eligibility, billing, claims, general coverage questions, PCP and address changes, and any questions or concerns about their Medicare Advantage health and prescription drug benefits
  • Create accurate and timely member documentation concerning all phone calls taken according to departmental operating guidelines
  • Presents and projects a positive image of the company in and out of the office to fellow employees, members, providers, and the community
  • Answers inbound calls with a sense of urgency while meeting or exceeding company standards
  • Strive for first call resolution while ensuring that the inquiries have been addressed to the customer's satisfaction
  • Investigates requests from customers for refunds, credits, and retroactive changes as appropriate
  • Follow up with customers and make outbound calls when necessary to prevent additional calls and customer dissatisfaction
  • Develop knowledge of Medicare products and CMS guidelines across functional disciplines
  • Performs other duties as assigned



  • 1 - 2 years experience in the health insurance industry preferred with a combined focus on production and quality
  • Experience working with the elderly population helpful
  • Demonstrate ability to deal effectively with others and have a willingness to be a team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures, including the operation of office equipment, such as personal computers, word processing, spreadsheet and presentation programs
