One of DC Metro’s fastest growing companies, Blades of Green is seeking an outgoing and energetic person for our customer service team. We are a family owned and operated lawn care and pest control company, serving Central Maryland residents for nearly 25 years.
Can you answer yes to the questions below? - Do you often take your time to help others? - Are you just about the most organized person you know? - Is double-checking your work for accuracy natural for you? - Are you the person others look to you for help using technology? - Do you have experience calling customers on past due balances?
You have to be good at talking with customers on the phone while scheduling their services using our service scheduling software. You also have to keep your cool during those occasional times when customers are upset - you have to listen to and show empathy for their concerns, and come up with solutions to make them happy.
You also have to work with our service team, the people out in the field taking care of our customers, letting them know about new stops, changes to their schedules, and relaying information to them from their customers. We also ask you to answer questions from prospective customers, explaining our services and how we can help, and closing sales. Strong MS Office skills are essential. Fast and accurate typing/data entry is also needed.
We expect you to look out for our customers and coworkers, so we look out for you. You can expect a strong hourly wage, commensurate with your experience. We offer health insurance, paid training, and paid personal days, sick days, and vacation. Work hours are flexible, starting as early as 7:00 AM and ending as late as 6:00 PM. Occasional Saturdays (9 AM - 2 PM) are also required during our busy season.
