About the Job

  • Hours: 6:30AM - 2PM or 2PM - 9:30PM (choose either shift)
  • $10-12 per hour
  • Silver Spring, MD (Near the Metro)

Job Overview

Looking for recent grads who are interested in gaining experience with non-profits and/or the federal government. This is for a 4-5 month project where you will be trained and gain experience with the federal grant system. Learn how non-profits work with the federal government on a daily basis.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry
  • Application Processing/Screening/Paneling
  • Staff support and other administrative duties
  • Download and Input information from electronic and hard copy grant applications into databases
  • Monitor, track and maintain application received
  • Participates in quality control checks throughout the application process
  • Create spreadsheets, correspondence, forms and reports required for application quality control
  • Assist with paneling applications for offsite review

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree or Current College Student
  • Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Must be comfortable reviewing documents and great attention to detail
