The Columbus Dispatch advertising sales department is seeking a Digital Recruitment Consultant. This savvy sales professional will be responsible for achieving sales goals and supporting recruitment classified online advertising. Work requires a combination of sales skills and technical knowledge, which will include working directly with both customers and online software products. The ideal candidate will have experience working with human resources and an understanding of the recruitment process. This outside sales account executive will be responsible for:
•Assisting clients in understanding and implementing digital advertising campaigns
•Managing sales pipeline and building a strong customer base
•Achieving individual sales goals and assisting print sales staff in overall online goals
•Developing advertising strategies, campaigns and creative proposals for clients.
This individual will enjoy staying up to date with available market research, competitive data and Internet industry trends, and will utilize that information in prospecting and sales presentations.
We are for a go-getter with demonstrated sales skills, the ability to produce and present marketing/advertising campaign presentations to high-level decision-makers, knowledge of the Internet and social media sites, Internet advertising, and Internet-related direct marketing applications including email marketing. Experience with internet-based vertical advertising products is a plus. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience in account management, building and maintaining relationships, and is a team player. Outstanding organizational and time management skills, attention to detail and ability to effectively work through multiple projects at one time are necessary skills. A college degree is preferred.
