About the Job

Job Description:
The Director, Business Development is a key leading position for the business development effort within ITI.  The Director, Business Development is focused on the identification, pursuit and development of new business within a focused segment of the federal and commercial marketplace.  This key role includes responsibility to protect and grow ITI’s customer base while executing programs aimed to meet and exceed the assigned revenue streams as both a Prime and a Subcontractor.

Job Responsibilities
:
Performs the planning, coordination, execution, and client business development activities within the federal government and commercial market; to include identifying and qualifying opportunities, meeting and presenting to prospective clients ITI unified communications professional engineering services and major systems integration solutions including Cisco products and technologies. 

Implements a strategic, solution-oriented approach to create interest in our unique value, and build market position by identifying, developing, defining, negotiating, and establishing client relationships.

All other duties as assigned by management.

Skills
:
Must have a demonstrated sales-success track record and a professional presence.

Expertise within focused market segments; to include DoD/Military, Intelligence, Scientific (NASA), Law Enforcement (DOJ), and/or commercial.

A seasoned leader that is recognized and respected within the assigned market segment community, both by the customers and by potential partners; large and small.

Fully familiar with the following:
  Federal Government Acquisition Process;
 
NAICS codes;
 
Various types of contracts and the RFI, RFQ, and RFP process.

Prefer a track record of selling Professional Engineering Services, and Major Systems Integration services to the following agencies:  
DOD/Military including DISA; Intelligence; Homeland Security; Scientific including NASA; Law Enforcement including DOJ; and Commercial clientele.

Ability to multi-task and wear multiple hats.

Ability to work independently on assigned tasks, as well as, accept direction on given assignments.

Educational Requirements
:
Bachelors Degree in a related field.

Experience
:
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in customer facing business development experience with a Systems Integrator or IT Federal Contractor.

Other Requirements
:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a government TS security clearance.

Experienced in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, office applications,  mobility, and collaboration tools.

Experience using Internet Explorer.

Excellent oral and written communications skills.

Compensation includes salary plus commissions.
