JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title:Director of ISO Sales   

 

POSITION SCOPE:  The Director of ISO Sales is responsible for managing the overall growth of our ISO and Sales Partner Channel through the successful creation and management of new ISO’s/SalesPartners.  Working very closely with and reporting to the VP of Sales, this role will attract and manage a National Sales Recruiting team, and have the overall responsibility of managing and growing the sales channel.  This is a key role for Total Merchant Services and will be based in its Headquarters in Woodland Hills, CA.  The Director of ISO Sales will own the sales strategy and overall growth of the channel.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

 

  • Develop annual plan and execution of the ISO sales strategy;
  • Manage a national recruiting sales force including sales development and new hire acquisitions for the channel;
  • Key individual contributor for obtaining and growing larger account opportunities;
  • Develop sales partner on boarding strategies to help accelerate growth;
  • Foster existing SP relationship growth by having good two way communication with all strategic sales partners and ISO’s;
  • Assist with the rollout of new sales program initiatives, including residual compensation programs and product rollouts;
  • Develop ISO and Sales Partner acquisition plans including ETA and Regional Trade Shows as well as industry marketing advertising messaging and programs;
  • Develop and execute National Sales Conference for all existing Sales Partners;
  • Work closely with Sales Partner Support Leader and other team members to continually improve overall sales experience. Monitor and improve day - to -day SP performance through development of training programs, hands-on assistance, and automated reporting (SFA);
  • Approver of all Sales Partner and ISO Agreements;
  • Key member of Sales and Marketing Leadership Team;
  • Owner of SP Channel dashboard and overall operating mechanism within the department.  Monthly reporting of Plan vs. Actual reporting
  • Work closely with Product, Sales and Marketing Teams to drive overall growth of the channel.


PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION:

 

  • 3+ years experience in leading and managing an ISO sales channel;
  • 3+ years specific POS or Payments industry experience;
  • Understanding of various merchant verticals and the differing needs relating to each vertical;
  • In-depth knowledge of the ISO and Agent community, software and hardware, and payments solutions;
  • Experience in managing a national sales organization including development of sales commission plans for employees
  • In depth knowledge of residual income compensation plans and ISO Agreements
  • Track record of executing successful channel sales campaigns (ie, target market, built the program, implemented and managed program) – and driving marketing support and resources;
  • Ability to provide business leadership, communicate clearly, and ferociously execute on new business opportunities;
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence others not in your direct control;
  • Preferred: History of consistently exceeding quota with experience in closing complex sales (merchant, channel, or partner), consultative selling, and directly selling
  • Must be based Woodland Hills, CA Headquarters;
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
