Director of Strategic Business Development

About the Job

As the Director of Strategic Business Development you will be tasked with building and strengthening relationships with key strategic customers; ensuring they have a clear and consistent understanding of the value CSR can bring to both them and their ecosystem and that you are driving an understanding of their direction back into CSR to aid with roadmap and strategy formulation

Key Responsibilities:

* Communicating a clear and consistent position for CSR across each strategic customer

* Ensuring CSR’s value and position in the ecosystems is understood by the customer

* Developing key relationships across the strategic customers and their ecosystems to help CSR  drive revenue and strategic alignment

* Driving a coordinated response for strategic customers from CSR (sales, marketing and engineering)

* Working with key stakeholders within CSR to ensure there is a clear internal position with respect to our key strategic customers

*  Providing input to CSR’s strategy

* Providing input to CSR’s roadmap

 

Required Skills

* Demonstrated success in building strong links at senior level within large, multinational tier-1 customers

* Track record of successful business development in semiconductor/mobile industry

* Track record of aligning strategy with key customer needs

* Located in Bay area

* Ability to hold credible technical discussions with a wide range of engineers both internally and externally

* Qualified to degree level in engineering or related discipline

 

 Desired Skills:

* Previous employment at high level within a large, multinational tier-1 company

* Previous experience as strategic business developer/account manager for large, multinational tier-1 customers

* Experience with BT/WiFi technology
