Our company
is growing rapidly, and we’re looking for a passionate, versatile
e-communications professional to join our marketing team in Salt Lake City, Utah.



 



The
e-Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing an electronic
marketing strategy to expand online participation among our membership base of
banking customers, teachers, employee groups, charitable donors and others. 



 



In this role, you will:



  • Develop and maintain a promotional
    calendar of online marketing campaigns.
  • Spearhead the conception, creation
    and timely delivery of ongoing email communications.
  • Assess and incorporate industry
    best practices to maximize email open rates and clickthroughs.
  • Monitor the company’s email
    reputation to enhance deliverability rates.
  • Coordinate promotional
    approvals through participating merchants and client organizations.
  • Work
    with division leadership to develop and execute strategy for leveraging
    social media channels, such as Facebook, Twitter and MySpace.
  • Collect/analyze
    market data and advertising impact.
  • Consult
    with other divisions and client organizations to provide marketing
    recommendations as appropriate.
  • Perform
    other duties as needed in support of company marketing efforts.


Qualifications



  • B.S./B.A.
    or equivalent, preferably in marketing, web design or related field.
  • 5
    years professional marketing experience, preferably in an online marketing
    or direct marketing role.
  • Familiarity
    with CSS & HTML programming, specifically as it relates to email
    design.
  • Knowledge
    of graphic design principles (with emphasis on web & email design) to
    create smart, visually persuasive email features and images.
  • Ability
    to compose sharp, compelling marketing copy, particularly for email
    campaigns and blog entries.
  • Solid
    analytical skills, with the ability to draw inferences and take action
    based upon consumer response rates and other data.
  • Willingness
    to take direction, with the ability to work alone when necessary.
