eCommerce Business development/Sales professional
Background
SafetyPay is looking to add an experienced business development / sales professional with a proven track record of identifying, targeting and landing new opportunities in e-commerce arena. Experience in similar sales positions calling on key ecommerce decision makers will be considered very important. Successful candidates will be creative, personal, detailed-oriented, have meticulous follow-through skills and convey confidence to prospective clients.
We are looking for a driven, experienced individual with specific vertical expertise and proven track record in sales. Compensation will be based on a comprehensive package including a base salary a stock option package and a generous commission primarily upon successful execution of sales and achievement of sales goals.
Responsibilities:
• Ability to pre-qualify potential clients and develop effective contact strategies to initiate a dialog regarding our offering.
• Reach out to prospected clients that fit the business criteria and pitch SafetyaPay’s solution.
• Responsible for meeting or exceeding annual revenue and growth goals
• Maintain and grow client relationships that support the achievement of revenue and growth goals
• Manage all aspects of new opportunities from researching who to target, to proposal preparation, sales presentations and responses to questions and RFP’s
• Lead deal negotiations with potential clients.
• Collaborate with internal groups to report negotiations status and receive ongoing support.
Required Skills
· Education: BA/BS degree
· Overall Experience: 5+ years experience in successful track record selling to internet companies, with emphasis on E-commerce retail. Please note: we are looking for specific vertical experience in selling to and dealing with E-commerce companies.
· Deep knowledge of the ecommerce ecosystem, internet payment solutions and strong background in selling to Retail clients.
· Proven Track Record in over-achieving quarterly and annual quota
· Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills
· Ideal candidates will bring with them a range of ecommerce industry-related contacts
