Job Title | eDiscovery Operations Manager | Location | Cambridge,MA | Requisition Number | 11212BR | Job Description | Responsibilities: - eDiscovery technology strategy, implementation, and operations. To include all hardware and software systems related to the preservation and collection of Electronically Stored Information (ESI). - Maintain the highest level of data quality control with respect to chain of custody on all matter related ESI. - Remain current with best industry standard litigation support technologies and advise on the application of those technologies to responsible attorneys and/or paralegals and IT Management. - In consultation with responsible attorneys and/or paralegals, recommend and advise regarding how above technology can best be applied. Also responsible for directly implementing recommended solutions. - Provide direction to a team of technical analysts. - Develop and maintain instructional documentation with regard to the operation of all eDiscovery technology. - Serves as a project manager across multiple cases to insure that tasks are prioritized and deadlines are met. - Provide direct training, troubleshooting, problem-solving and technical support on all eDiscovery systems for all users of those systems. Requirements: - Thorough knowledge of eDiscovery and forensic tools. - Understanding of concepts relating to computer networking (LAN/WAN), client/server, and messaging software. - Ability to work additional time in order to perform the essential duties of the position; may require irregular hours. - Ability to multitask, exhibit calm professional demeanor and interact with all levels of personnel. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. - Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.  | Qualifications | Minimum 3 years of industry experience | | About Biogen Idec: Transforming Discovery into Care
