Leverage Your Network/Application Administration Expertise for a Great Job!
Application Administrator needed for an initial 6 month to 1 year contract and conversion to permanent opportunity with a major software/services company having offices in the Triangle Area of NC. The ideal candidate should have experience in installation and configuration and support of eHealth, or Spectrum, or MRTG, or Infovista applications but also willing to train someone with solid network administration back ground interested in learning the specialized application support role. Please note this is not a network monitoring role. Networking/application administration/application troubleshooting 3+ years. Position responsibilities include administration of the ASP Services platform. Plan, perform, direct, and document more advanced operational processes and procedures as required. Provide detailed, concise, and timely follow up communication to customers. Actively escalate issues to senior management to ensure timely resolution and notification, and senior-level operational support of a large customer base. Must pass drug test and criminal background check.

Required Experience- SNMP required
- Network administration required
- Cisco router administration
- UNIX required - user-level UNIX/Linux any flavor
- SQL required (Oracle preferred)
- eHealth preferred - or willing to learn - application support/application administration
- MRTG preferred - application support/application administration (MRTG = multiple router traffic graphic)
- Infovista preferred - application support/application administration
- MIB - preferred (MIB = management information base within network devices)
