This senior level consultant will be instrumental in helping to grow our Southern California Environmental Health Safety and Sustainability Consulting business. This exciting position has both business development and technical consulting responsibilities, so we are looking for a unique individual who has both senior level technical EHS&S expertise, loves to sell and is great at it; and wants to be generously rewarded with an exceptional compensation package for meeting goals. Environmental expertise with a PE certification (civil engineering) is especially desirable.
You must have prior consulting sales experience related to EHS&S and a great network in Southern California.
Key Responsibilities Include: Providing sales leadership, and making new and existing client salesMeeting sales objectives, maintaining sales plans and updating sales forecast and pipelineGenerating leads, coordinating meetings and proposals, and conducting follow up to meet sales targetsDeveloping and maintaining our Customer Relationship Management system to track leads and measure sales performanceProposal preparation, including estimating work scope and price, and presentation process and managing client relations to ensure complete satisfactionMaintaining a high profile externally and through membership/ attendance in life science industry functions, continually increasing contact baseEHS&S project management and coordination of project teams including serving as a Client Steward (Account Manager) for key accountsSeen as a leader within EORM and outside EORM, as a result of your technical, industry and competitive knowledgeProviding senior level EHS&S support to a variety of life science/biotech customersDevelopment and implementation of written Environmental programs.Performing Environmental audits.Supporting technical environmental training.Conduct site visits and prepare SPCC and SWPP plans and programs.Working knowledge in management systems.Supporting sustainability projects.Performing project management and internal customer management.Mentoring other consultants in their specialty areas.Providing quality review.Mentoring other consultants in sales and technical specialty areas

Education & Experience: Undergraduate degree in a science-related field is required. A MS in a science-related field or MBA is desirable.7 + years of related Environmental xperience including business development responsibility for a professional services firmPE in Civil Engineering highly desirableHighly organized and self motivatedCritical thinking ability
