Our client in Upstate NY is looking for someone with Senior Bridge Engineering / Project Management experience. You will transition into the firm's Transportation Group Director role (over the next few years - exact timeline undetermined).
The successful candidate must be technically proficient in structural analysis and design of bridges using current AASHTO codes. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and bridge design software is required; experience with NYSDOT projects and MicroStation/InRoads is highly desirable.
The responsibilities for this "hands-on position" include:
· Supervising and assisting with the preparation of design reports, feasibility studies, bridge and approach roadway design, load ratings, contract plans, specifications and estimates
· Development and monitoring of technical proposals, presentations, contract proposals, schedules and budgets
· Meeting project profitability goals
The preferred candidate should have a BS degree with fifteen (15) + years of relevant experience and a PE license.
Compensation for this position depends on your knowledge and experience. Relocation assistance will be provided in the form of a signing on bonus. This position provides competitive benefits including annual incentive compensation potential along with growth opportunities. You will be eligible for performance bonuses that have been typically running at $5,000 over the last couple of years.
