Eaton located in Cleveland (Beachwood), OH has an opening for an Executive Talent Acquisition Consultant that can be based in Raleigh, NC / Beachwood, OH / Eden Prairie, MN or Pittsburgh, PA or can work virtually. The incumbent will be reporting to the Director of Global Executive Talent Acquisition, this position will be responsible for the sourcing, attracting and acquiring of exceptional & diverse executive level talent across Eaton Corporation. He/She will focus on working with internal clients and human resource managers to define executive hiring needs as well as develop and implement cost effective, results oriented recruitment strategies that yield excellent hires throughout the corporation. The Executive Talent Acquisition Consultant will drive all search activities i.e., determination of sourcing methodology & tools, proactive recruiting, pre-screening of candidates, reporting, structure of interviews, and ensuring correct diversity focus is maintained. Relevant retained experience is a must.

Essential Functions:
-Support and manage 8-10 executive level recruiting projects (full cycle) on average.
-Will conduct executive level recruiting ranging from senior manager to senior vice president level searches.
-Creatively and proactively source, screen and present high quality executive candidates.
-Develop appropriate and consistent communications with internal clients and senior human resource partners to ensure a positive client and candidate experience.
-Provide strategic direction and counsel to hiring executives and senior human resources managers regarding recruiting trends, concerns and possibilities for opportunistic hiring.
-Negotiate complex executive offer packages that will typically include base, bonus, long-term incentive compensation and other executive benefits.
-Market Eaton Corporation as an “Employer of Choice”. Prepare and present attractive recruitment messages and materials appropriate to executive level hiring.
-Ensure the presentation of high quality executive candidates in accordance with diversity and EEO goals and objectives for both internal and external searches.
-Manage and conduct thorough reference and background checks on final candidates.
-Effectively utilize comprehensive knowledge of company benefits, general compensation strategies, affirmative action program awareness and recruiting sales techniques.

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or Communications from an accredited institution required.
-Minimum 5+ years of executive level recruiting experience within a major corporation or an external retained search firm supporting executive level recruitment.
-Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship.

Position Criteria:
-Strong client facing capabilities- personable with consultative sales and persuasion skills for reasoning and negotiations.
-Fully knowledgeable of executive recruiting techniques, recruitment plan development, sourcing methods (executive referrals, research, direct sourcing, internet search, executive search firms, etc...
-Excellent negotiation and sales skills.
-Excellent relationship management skills.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
-Strong project management skills- capable of developing & executing upon thoughtful project/recruiting strategies and then methodically working those projects to a successful completion.
-Experience with behavioral based interviewing techniques.
-Able to make quick decisions in a fast paced environment.
-Proficient with Microsoft Office Products.
-Proficient with LinkedIn.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience in recruiting professionals within the industrial or manufacturing industry is strongly preferred.
