About the Job

The candidate is responsible for receiving daily incoming mail and distribution. The person is also responsible for responding to service desk tickets in a prompt manner, service requests can range from office supply fulfillment to actual office moves within our facility. The candidate will also possess the ability and knowledge to perform basic facility maintenance along with minor repairs relating to facility and building operations. Storeroom organization, inventory of consumables and ordering kitchen and office supplies are some of the weekly duties assigned to this position. Monthly duties include facility safety inspections and escorting shredding contractors throughout the facility. The candidate will need to be self-motivated, not requiring constant supervision with the ability to do a self-walk-through of facility space observing and undertaking facility tasks requiring attention.

The role of the Facility Coordinator is to manage and maintain corporate office space including office support functions and space planning. Assists with the maintenance of equipment, machinery, and building of all applicable facilities.

  • 2-4 years of experience required in facility operations or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Ability to acquire TS/SCI
  • Required to move or lift light objects (up to 50 pounds).
  • Typical physical demands include: a high degree of manual dexterity to sufficiently perform computer functions on a keyboard, produce materials on a PC and operate basic office equipment, normal or corrected vision and hearing, extensive sitting, mobility sufficient to visit with departments or employees throughout NJVC
