Reports to:Corporate Controller/Plant Controller
The Financial Accountant will be working with all CDI locations to support financial decision-making information by collecting, analyzing, investigating, and reporting financial data with focus on receivables, general ledger, and inventory valuations.
a) Review all incoming supply invoices and keep copies for backup.
b) Prepare monthly journal entries to record the changes in supply inventories for each location.
c) Analyze the monthly supply expense accounts for each CDI location, and resolve any discrepancies by communicating with the different offices regarding unexplained variances.

Education and/or Experience
A BS degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred. Minimum of two years related accounting experience required.
English is required as the spoken language. A well-modulated tonal volume is required with excellent diction skills needed. This job requires frequent communication with personnel in other CDI locations, including office personnel and warehouse personnel, regarding supply inventories. The Financial Accountant must be able to communicate effectively and concisely any issues relating to the supply inventories.
Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions given in written, oral, or diagram form. Must have the ability to discern when issues may require input from levels of authority within the corporation.
