This position assists VP of Shared Services in developing budgets/trends, works with operations in developing and reporting productivity results, prepares monthly financial reports, conducts monthly cost review with department heads, prepares and presents analyses, assists in the monthly financial close, distributes the daily activity report to management and prepares ad hoc reports.   


1.  Assist VP of Shared Services with budgeting, trend forecasts, and financial analyses 
2.  Prepare Ad hoc requests/reports, prepare and deliver presentations
3.  Responsible for preparation of monthly general ledger closing, account analysis and reconciliation
4.  Generate and Publish daily gross and net shipments report
5.  Create, Review, Approve or Reject Purchase Orders and T&E requests

This role will also serve as an administrative assistant/corporate recruiter that will perform wide range of executive office related administrative duties for clients executive management. Perform tasks requiring proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (to include MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, and Outlook) and Windows applications environment. Proficiency in grammar, spelling, and punctuation is required to produce accurate, printed documents Coordinate and interface effectively with all levels of management and staff. Handle confidential matters on a daily and recurring basis. Perform highly complex tasks, including working independently on projects requiring extensive outside research and the preparation of textual material, briefing charts and other presentation materials for presentation to executive staff and upper management. Recruiting responsibilities will include but are limited to keeping a accurate database of candidates, searching resumes, phone screens and setting up interviews.

Candidate must be a team player and be able to complete and successfully pass a public trust clearance.

Position requires a bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance (or related field) with a minimum of  0-2 years of work experience.

Must be highly proficient in Excel. 

Ability to extract data and have an understanding of relational data base concepts to merge, transfer files to meaningful creation of reports.

Experience work with budgets preferably within a manufacturing/consumer industry 

Judgment and decision making will be moderate to intermittent depending on the situation. Supervision for this position is close to moderate.
