The Flight Attendant will provide the highest levels of Safety and Service to Cablevision’s (CSC) Transport’s clients, travelers and guests consistent with all applicable FAA FAR’s, ICAO Rules & Regulations and CSC Transport’s FOM while maintaining a professional decorum at all times. The qualified candidate will function as a Flight Crew Team member in full coordination with the flight deck crew, maintenance and Flight Operations (Scheduling & Dispatch). Must have a thorough knowledge of CSC Transport’s FOM, check and prepare the cabin for flight and a thorough knowledge of and trouble shooting of all cabin systems (environmental, galley, seating/berthing, lavs), traveler productivity (communications, Wi-Fi) and entertainment systems. Plan menus, procure supplies and provide first class food & beverage services. Vet all catering vendors for food/beverage safety, quality and economics before ordering utilizing their services. Conduct on-site audits of frequent providers on at least an annual basis. Maintain copies of Health Department inspection reports of all frequented catering providers. Maintain a clean and neat cabin environment during all phases of flight. Make extraordinary efforts to fulfill passenger requests. Participate in Cablevision Transport special projects and perform other duties as assigned. Actively participates in the company Safety Management System with the understanding it is each person’s responsibility to recognize, anticipate, and report safety related matters.
• A minimum of 3 years of successful experience as a Flight Attendant with high profile, EHNW travelers.
• Excellent “Command Presence” in the cabin with CSC Transport clients, travelers and guests.
• Communicates clearly and concisely and establishes effective working relationships.
• A comprehensive background and working knowledge of the Culinary Arts, Food Safety, Beverage Selection/Management, Menu Planning and Presentation.
• Valid US Passport(s) with no foreign jurisdiction entry/exit restrictions as well as appropriate visas and foreign work permits.
• Culinary Arts advance training (such as CIA or equivalent) preferred.
• Formal Flight Attendant Certification by Flight Safety or FAR Part 121 Carrier required. Contemporaneous (within 12 months) Safety Training (MedAire, FACTS, Flight Safety, Open Water Survival).
• Must be Emergency Medical ‘First Responder’ certified and current.

Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business or Communications preferred, Master’s degree is a plus or minimum of 60 College credits required or military experience or technical/trade school certification. For internal candidates applying for other opportunities within the organization, the minimum educational requirement for college is strongly preferred but not required depending on relevant Cablevision work experience.
