About the Job

Lifestyle Communities seeks to hire a General Manager to join its team at our Dublin, Ohio location. This role is responsible for managing one of our Goat bar and restaurant locations.  Lifestyle Communities is a multi-family, real estate developer specializing in developing and managing master planned, class A apartment communities and creating incredible living experiences for residents. We have communities in the Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee markets with our headquarters located in Columbus, Ohio. In alignment to the Company’s brand strategy of delivering the good life, this role is going to focus on creating positive, unique and memorable experiences for our residents and customers.

Key job functions will include, but not be limited to,

Manages daily operations and all bar and kitchen staff including scheduling, monitoring daily cash, revenue, inventory and orders.
Manages sales, food liquor, beverage, and labor costs.
Maintains and manages all vendor relationships
Meets financial objectives and  works to increase sales and customer base.
Assists with recruiting, hiring and training
Ensures all bar  and kitchen staff provides positive memorable experiences to patrons
Maintains compliance with regulations and mandates involving the service of alcohol and food preparation and safety.  

Qualified applicants must have a high school degree or equivalent and at least five years of restaurant, bar or hospitality management experience. Work experience must include management or team lead responsibilities.  Must have working knowledge of current point of sale system, Aloha, or a similar point of sale program.  Kitchen operations experience to ensure quality and daily execution is needed.  Being flexible, adaptable and responsive to change is required.  Having strong customer experience, interpersonal and communication skills are required. Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills are needed.  Interest in working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment required.
