We are seeking a candidate to provide strategic and tactical leadership to identify the value of company products and services by providing health economic and reimbursement support for payers. This may include health economic studies, health economic data analysis, outcomes research and reimbursement analysis and strategy (coverage, coding, and payment).
Facilitates the work of the Global Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) professional team as the group manages hundreds of contracts, thousands of invoices, and a multimillion dollar budget. Monitors, track, and reports contract and payment status against time-frame and funding.
Core responsibilities include:
1.) managing in-process third party vendor confidentiality agreements and contracts as well as associated documentation,
2.) tracking project status, time-frames, and financials,
3.) approving invoices for payments,
4.) assessing transparency reporting to the government,
5.) training new scientists and project managers
The ideal candidate will need the following:
EXPERIENCE: At least 5 years’ experience in healthcare reimbursement and health policy Background in evidence based medicine, competitive effectiveness research and peer review publication process Broad knowledge of government and private payer reimbursement / OUS experience desired Understanding of health care policy Strategic understanding of the business and strategic thinking Experience working with KOLs, as well as government and private payers Ability to analyze information and assess risk potential
