Commercial Insurance Account Manager

Job Description:
Immediate need for commercial insurance account manager seeking a great opportunity with a well established firm.

The Commercial Insurance Account Specialist is responsible for handling all aspects of service within an assigned book of business. This position works effectively with all members of the sales and service team to provide a high level of customer satisfaction. This position is also responsible for carrying the organization?s reputation and professional manner of conducting business into dealing with colleagues, customers and carriers.

? Is dependable and consistently reports to work on time prepared to perform duties of the position. Essential Functions
? Handle all incoming service requests from customer and carrier sources.
? Handle new and renewal marketing procedures including but not limited to negotiating with carriers, obtaining updated customer information and ordering policies from carriers, and preparation of presentation and proposal material.
? Update and maintain customer information in the agency management system accurately and efficiently.
? Provide coverage analysis and recommendations for improved or additional coverage.
? Collaborate with colleagues to identify and act on up sell and cross sell opportunities with existing customers within the organization.
? Adhere to and comply with organization policies and procedures, sales and service standards and established work flows.
? Demonstrate effective and efficient quality control through proper file documentation and maintenance to comply with organization error and omission standards.
? Maintain a concern for timeliness, accuracy and completeness when interacting with customers, colleagues and carriers.
? Handle independently or work closely with designated sales and service team to ensure customer service needs are addressed in effective and efficient manner.
? Actively participate in organization initiatives and support core values including community involvement. Knowledge, Skill & Abilities

High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
Two years or more insurance or business related experience.
Automation knowledge and skills required.
