Insight Networking is actively looking to fill a Sr. Consultant / Architect position in the Unified Communications consulting practice. Job responsibilities will vary based on the client engagement. Candidates should be able to readily adapt to varied client environments, with responsibilities ranging from performing network readiness assessments, developing Unified Communications solution designs to implementation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work with clients and Insight Networking teams to identify business and technical requirements for unified communications.
- Develop unified communication strategies and architectures.
- Perform network readiness and current state telephony assessments.
- Develop unified communications designs based on the latest Cisco advanced technologies.
- Implement & support unified communications solutions for clients based on industry best practices.
- Provide knowledge transfer and detailed design/operational documentation to clients.
- Provide quality assurance documentation review and peer review on projects.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Minimum of four years of related IP telephony design / implementation experience including:
- Cisco Call Manager
- Cisco Unity
- Cisco IVR
- Cisco IPCC Express / IPCC Enterprise
- Cisco Meeting Place / Meeting Place Express
- H323 / SIP / MGCP
- IP Video
- Cisco Hardware & Software
- Minimum of three years of related network / IP Telephony administration and support
- Minimum of three years of related experience in network environments, including network engineering (hardware and software), network security practices and designing, planning and implementing LANs and WANs
- Minimum of three years of relevant network consulting experience while working in Cisco VAR channel
- Excellent client management/resolution, problem solving, debugging/troubleshooting skills are required
- Excellent verbal communications and written documentation skills are required
- Active Cisco CCNP / CCVP certifications or equivalent experience are required
- Active Cisco Voice Specializations are desired
- Active CCIE (Voice / R&S) certifications are desired
EDUCATION
Requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or demonstrated performance in a large-scale enterprise technical work environment.
