This position is a vital part of the Business Reporting team. This team is responsible for analyzing business data, generating simple reports (using Business Objects), and preparing specifications for complex reports from the Data Warehouse. Programming and reporting requirements will come from various internal customers, and will be developed using various programming languages and various systems.

Job duties:

  Report generation and programming support.


• 
  
  Work with the Database Administrator and the Business Analyst to implement software and solutions in various countries, improve processes, and accomplish various objectives dictated by management.

  Develop reports, modify reports, will provide report specifications to programming units to support reporting, will develop interfaces, perform table updates, and develop stored functions, procedures, packages.


• 
  
  This position will work closely with Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing and the executive team. Training of Super-Users within these departments will be needed. An understanding of Unicity internal databases and report structures will have to be learned. Strong communication skills will be vital to insure that proper reports, data and outlines are created. Ability to follow-up on reports and to keep functioning at a high level with the pressure of deadlines will be required.
  
  Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Business or related field
  • Experience with Business Objects or other enterprise reporting tools
  • Experience with report writing and programming complex reports
  • Experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases
  • Occasional international travel may be required.
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft Navision
  • Knowledge of querying, updating, and interfacing with relational databases.
  • Occasional on-call requirements to support a 24/7 production environment
  • Experience with Crystal Reports, Business Objects, or similar report-writing software
  • Must be able to provide detailed analysis and reporting expertise for business process and objectives.
  • Experienced in training technical applications a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of curiosity and drive to analyze data
