Job Description for Chemical Distribution Engineer

 

 

• Responsibility for chemical distribution systems within cleanroom design through construction.

• Focus on Process systems and chemical distribution systems.

• Assist with ultra-high purity piping design for HPM labs and cleanrooms.

• Review design process systems, piping and plumbing for cleanrooms and Labs including DI water, AWN, PCW, PVAC, CDA chemical distribution and collection.

• Review tool and HPM room layouts to ensure user requirements are met  for safe chemical distribution

• Assist with code requirements analysis, based on chemical requirements for various processes.

• Review equipment procurement and operational specifications for PVD, Diffusion, PECVD, Wet

Process, Dry Etch, Photolithography, Metrology, CMP and/or other front end processes.

 

 

Requirements for Chemical Distribution Engineer:

• Semiconductor experience (7-10 yrs) is required.

• Chemical Engineer (PE preferred but not required).

• Design staff supervision experience.

• Experience as an “owners representative” is a plus

• Knowledge of equipment and chemical processes for the microelectronics industry is required.

• US Citizenship or compliant work Visa Status is required.

• Cleanroom construction experience is a plus.

• Knowledge of Microelectronics Chemical requirements and their compatibility with piping systems is required.

• Knowledge of PVD, Diffusion, PECVD, Wet and Dry Etch, Photolithography Processes is required.

Education:

  BS in Materials, Physics, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering. Professional Engineering License is a plus.

• $850/wk stipend (GSA Compliant)

• 1 trip home/month. They would get that Friday and Monday off as travel days. Air fare included (in the continental US)
