About the Job



Functions as system administrator for SAP Business One, HRIS and other designation systems. Support project and program leader(s) with project management functions.  Responsible for research, analysis and design of all phases of the systems development life cycle. Ability to produce all artifacts associated with systems life cycle process analysis, requirements gathering, systems design and testing. Creates required “AS-IS” and “TO-BE” business process diagrams as part of analysis phase of a project or research for potential projects. Participates and/or organizes JAD sessions with stakeholders and customers to develop functional and technical system/project requirements. Assists developers in the design, process flow, testing, validation, build and deployment of all system changes. Coordinates and leads implementation of hardware, software, and operating system release updates. Ensures application version control, proper documentation and communication accompany every application upgrade that is deployed to the field. Responsible for daily operational problem tracking and resolution. Monitors daily system alerts and help desk calls to effect solutions. Gathers and assimilates statistical data to explore cost reduction and new business opportunities.






·         Completes business analyst certification requirements



·         Functions as administrator to cloud based applications for SAP, HRIS, Sales and Marketing, Finance and Operations



  • Works directly with Parent Company and its offspring companies, field personnel, customers and vendor partners to document business processes, develop project requirements, design, testing and implementation of application, hardware, software, and operating system upgrades to the shop system
  • Develops requirements documents, use cases and user stories



  • Works directly with field / location personnel on all system and infrastructure additions, conversions, testing, documentation and implementations



  • Primary contact for all field personnel, help desk and other support  groups regarding system and infrastructure technical and functional knowledge



  • Provides training updates to field personnel with every new application and infrastructure update



  • Works directly with managers, project leaders, developers and outside consultants to determine best practices in system and infrastructure design



  • Analyzes quantitative aspects, from a cost/benefit and process and functional viewpoint, of all technology and project recommendations 



  • Analyzes and recognizes trends in process and system performance and makes cost reduction and efficiency recommendations



  • Gathers and analyzes system and process performance data to ensure systems are operating at peak performance and processing requirements are kept current to prevent credit and revenue shortfalls



  • Gathers and assimilates statistical and business data to explore new business channels and opportunities 



  • Coordinates all aspects of systems development life cycle  and infrastructures updates from analysis to implementation including all SOX requirements



  • Proficient on all Company processes and system functionality and makes recommendations to improve product quality, service delivery and availability to the field



  • Primary support for field on all system problems, downtime, recovery, and conversions. Documentation and follow up communication accompanies problem resolution from start to finish



  • Ensures follow up metrics are created and applied to all system enhancements



  • Produces all required charts, graphs, spreadsheets and reports on a daily or as required basis to demonstrate system performance or business / performance recommendation



  • Performs all special projects and functions as business dictates



  • Accepts and handles “on call” requirements to prevents business disruptions and ensure continuity



  • Produces and maintains all documentation and notes on systems and infrastructure. Communicates updates to customers prior to delivery



  • Maintains version control for all application and system upgrades



  • Completes technical training required to support existing technology



  • Stays abreast of technology updates in Oil and Gas / Service and Repair business arena









Requires extensive sitting, viewing and utilizing computer equipment, keyboarding, listening and speaking with telephone equipment, walking and occasionally lifting 10 to 40 lbs.  No exposure to adverse working conditions.






Bachelor’s Degree



Business Analyst Certification (Helpful)
