JDE Finance Business Analyst

Experience & Skills: Requires five to eight years of experience in the analysis and support of JD Edwards ERP systems in client-server, midrange and/or enterprise server computing environments in a manufacturing and distribution environment, with working knowledge and in-depth knowledge of JD Edwards modules (8.12 or higher release) General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting, Forecasting, Consolidations, Intercompany Setup & Processing. Good understanding of chart of accounts, DMAAIs

Position Responsibilities:

Immediate requirement for a JDE Finance Business Analyst as a contractor to support the finance teams on a day-today business, troubleshoot and resolve issues on a timely basis.

·       Must have strong functional skills on the configuration of JD Edwards Financials systems: Foundation, General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Advanced Cost Accounting, Forecasting, Consolidations, Intercompany Setup & Processing. Knowledge of chart of accounts, DMAAIs is a must

·       Preferred to have full JDE implementation experience in Finance area

·       Work closely with management to understand and prioritize business goals and information needs. Translate these needs to functional systems requirement documents and design specifications

·       Manage JDE system bugs, analyze root cause of problems and provide direction for workarounds, corrections and enhancements

·       Creation of functional requirements document. Work directly with end users to obtain requirements and translate the information into a functional requirements document for development towards a technical requirements documents
