The Position

 

Burns & Scalo Roofing is currently hiring for a newly created position: Key Account Coordinator.

 

This unique position is responsible for ensuring an exceptional customer experience for Burns & Scalo’s roofing service to customers. The successful candidate will have the responsibility of being the key point of contact for Burns & Scalo’s high-profile customer accounts and will regularly manage customer inquiries, dispatch processing, sub-contractor management and support, scheduling, invoicing, as well as any other needs that are specific to these key accounts. This is a hands-on position for a self-starter with a thorough understanding of technology, compliance, operations, and data management.

 

The Key Account Coordinator is responsible for the following:

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Serve as the front-line contact for key customers and field their inquiries and requests for service
  • Efficiently Coordinate resources with both internal and external service crews
  • Diligently communicate with customer and vendor contacts, while effectively managing the timely completion of work performance.
  • Perform quality control to ensure compliance and quality workmanship
  • Maintain client database with best practices in data management
  • Support and provide training/troubleshooting for Burns & Scalo’s internal and external resources
  • Be a proficient user and trainer of Burns & Scalo’s proprietary enterprise system, MasterKey™
  • Create and review roof inspections and proposals
  • Execute service invoices with a high degree of accuracy
  • Attend regular staff meetings and others as needed.
  • Support the VP of Sales/Estimating, Director of Marketing, and Customer Service Department as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.



Job Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years office and account support / customer service experience (dispatch experience preferred).
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school preferred (business, accounting or communications, or related field); High school diploma/GED required
  • Knowledge in Roofing or Construction is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and the ability to learn customer service management, scheduling, dispatch and accounting software.
  • Highest commitment to quality customer service.

·         Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all types of customers, vendors, and employees.

·         Strong people orientation and positive attitude.

  • Must project a professional and polished image that inspires confidence and trust.
  • Ability to work with a team and unsupervised.

·         Effective organizational and time-management skills. Able to plan and schedule work proactively rather than just reactively.

  • Physically able to perform essential job functions including walking, sitting for extended periods of time, bending, light lifting, speaking, writing, comprehending and concentrating on detail-oriented work, and computer-related work
  • Minimum of 2-3 years verifiable Customer Service or Account Support experience
