Working with leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies world wide, MD Biosciences is looking to strengthen its core immunology and inflammations and group with the addition of a qualified scientist to our group located in St Paul / Minneapolis. The position is diverse and provides many interesting research opportunities to the scientist looking for a dynamic, growing position.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, management of the in vitro and in vivo laboratories along with the scientists and technicians; searching literature publications for relevant methods; writing, discussing and evaluating study protocols; planning and scheduling study time slots; executing studies together with the scientific team; evaluating results and proposing next step studies. The work also involves the development and validation of new methods based on the market and client requests.
Requirements: PhD level degree in immunology or other area related to inflammation. Experience with both in vivo and in vitro methods and disease models. Good, clear communication skills are essential. Leadership qualities are a must for this position with a willingness to learn from and grow with the new challenges and project proposals brought to us by clients and internal study needs. Familiarity with disease models in areas related to cancer, metabolic or general inflammatory diseases is a plus. Industry or CRO experience would be positively assessed.
