About the Job

Venable LLP, one of the top 100 law firms in the U.S., has an opening for an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to be a part of a team supporting two busy partners in the firm’s Bankruptcy Practice Group.  Responsibilities include document production, including preparing presentations; client billing; answering telephones; coordinating meetings, schedules and travel itineraries; assisting with the intake of new client/matter information and other administrative duties in support of the practice.  Opportunity for overtime.

 

Requirements for this position include a minimum of two years of related experience, attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, basic to intermediate-level skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, machine transcription and a typing speed of 55 wpm.

 

Hours are: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Monday – Friday.
